You may book by email, but I regret cannot guarantee to check emails daily during busy times. It is far quicker to telephone.

If you have any special requirements, e.g. any allergies or special requirements in your room, vegetarian or gluten free food, please notify me at the time of booking or confirmation so that I can have all you need in place when you arrive.

You may smoke in the garden, but thank you for understanding that there is no smoking in the bedrooms inside my home and if you cannot manage without a ciggie indoors, then Penfro is not suitable for you. Unfortunately, several guests have abused my hospitality and smoked in their room recently. This has resulted in unpleasantness, denials and general nonsense which has been very upsetting to me and other guests. There is a £100 excess for defumigating work when this happens and guests are asked to leave.

Recently, a guest told me it was his girlfriends birthday and he would like to make it special.
On their return from dinner, they found the Slate Terrace lit with candles and a tray set with champagne,
champagne flutes and sparklers. Their bedroom was lit by fairy lights.

Penfro was used for a photo shoot and the client, photographer and models were delighted with the service and the results. Take a look at the fabulous results. The photographs were taken in the Hall and the Burgundy Room. The jewellery was mine and all the hats!

GOLFING BREAKS

Play Golf Locally at the super South Pembrokeshire Golf Course.
Special rates at the course are available to guests staying at Penfro,
please ask when you reserve your accommodation.

Special rates may be offered for long stays but reductions are rarely offered, the rooms are large, all food best quality, prices have not been increased in 2 years and thus are very reasonable.

If a special rate is offered for a long stay, this will be applicable via refund at the end of your stay. Should your stay be cut short, the full price quoted on this page is applicable.

CINEMA

If you would like to watch a film on a large screen, a projector is available which will run from a computer or DVD player. £10. This fee is not in payment for the film, rather towards the cost of the very expensive bulbs. This is for use in the Dining Room when available. This should be booked before you arrive since the room is often used by our family. (Sorry, not available over Christmas.)

Grade II* Listed
The UK has a scheme whereby buildings of great historic or architectural interest must be preserved. When a building is Listed, few changes can be made to it. There are 5 Grades on the List. (Lowest) Grade III, Grade II, Grade II, Grade 1 (highest) Penfro is Grade II Listed and thus very special, one of only around 20,000 such buildings in the whole of the UK. There are several Listings for features inside the house and gardens. The main staircase being one such. When you stay at Penfro, you really are staying at one of the most beautiful houses in the United Kingdom.

There is absolutely NO Smoking in a bedroom.
You are welcome to smoke outside in the garden.

I do my best to be fair and decent and expect the same behaviour in return.
Theft from my home will always be viewed seriously.

N.B. During busy times, it may take up to 48 hours to repond to emails.
